2021 was not what I expected or imagined, but once again it showed me the incredible impact that we can all make together.

All through this difficult year, Blue Dragon has met families kicked out of their homes onto the streets because they lost their job and couldn't afford to pay rent. I’ll never forget the sight of two young children playing with discarded cardboard boxes by the side of the road while the parents tried to figure out what to do next.

It’s been an incredibly difficult year for victims of human trafficking, too. You might have seen the story of two young women who hiked through jungles, across rivers and over mountains to escape from slavery. They travelled mostly by foot over a distance of over 2,000km from Myanmar to reach home.

But time and again, Blue Dragon has been able to bring people to safety. Because of supporters like you, families now have a place to stay and children are getting back to school. Parents are finding new jobs. Because of you, miracles like these are happening.

This Christmas, I would like to invite you to share some joy by giving Vietnamese children and families a nourishing meal that will fill their bellies and their hearts. At the end of a year that has been terrible for all of us, this will truly be a life-changing Christmas gift.

A gift of $15 will feed a family for a week. For these families, dinner time is precious - a time to be together and to share a meal.
