We use the Fast way satchels or Australia EBay Post Packs in 500g, 3kg & 5 kg, (Bx1 & Bx4 are no longer used as BX1 is too expensive and BX4 is withdrawn by Australia post) as a quick convenient way to get product to you. We can use standard parcel post but this will slow down your delivery and we will have to connect with you about the cost which is usually more that in the post pack.

Not all the products are the same size and shape so this may mean that there are variations in shipping charges as sometimes we have to ship via volume rather than weight

For larger orders of a carton in the Perth area, we can arrange free delivery if you are not in a hurry and are in the area between Fremantle, Cannington, Leederville, City Beach. Call us we may be going past you soon!

Or you may be going past us and may want to collect - we had to take off the local pick up option as too many customers thought they could do local collect when they were in the Eastern States and it took a lot of time for both our customer and ourselves to sort this out

Indochine, Creative coffee and Viet-Coffee beans up to 2.5 kg (250g x 10)fit into the 3 kg post pack. Often the coffee packs are a little over weight - so we cannot ship 3kg coffee by weight in a 3kg pack In the 3 kg post pack we fit 10 x 250g Viet-coffee or Indochine or Trung Nguyne 250g soft pack. The hard pack 500g Trung Nguyen product may be shipped in 250g soft pack due to the bulk and shape of the product not allowing us to ship at the quoted price.

So as well for the instant coffees and Gourmet and House blend are very bulky and we may need to remove the outside packaging in order to ship in the post pack at the quoted price or check out the bulk packs in the bulk coffee section.

Australia post recently put weight restrictions on BX1 = 1 kg making them uneconomic forms of shipping.

We also have the bulk packs section where we give you an extra discount on the coffee and include shipping for an all in one price - these are usually the 9 x 250g or 10 x 250 g packs.

For overseas postage to New Zealand Australia Post has taken away our special shipping rate so contact us to check pricing or see how to progress your order with the correct shipping - Skippy Post is back and cheaper Approximate shipping charges are $30 - 2.5kg, $50for 5k and $60 for 10Kg

If you think that the postage was excessive we can see if we can make a postage saving for you however we have searched for the best postage prices for you and keep monitoring shipping costs to give you the best value we can.

If you select the wrong shipping eg Fastway when not in a Fastway satchel zone or your delivery address is a parcel locker or PO Box we will redeem rewards points to get your order moving.

How to get best value from shipping packs with Viet-coffee

Shipping rates vary from location to location. You are not eligible for Fastway satchels if you provide a PO Box Address.

Australia Post has 3 main shipping sizes and due to our buying power we pass on our current 12.5% savings direct to you. Australia Post is ruthless with overweight  so we have to be quite strict on shipping weight which includes the packaging..  3 sizes and the packaging forms part of the shipping weight 500g 3 kg 5kg – Australia Post Delivers across Australia for the same fixed fee. So we have to use a 3kg satchel for a 500g box of coffee.

Fastway has 4 main shipping sizes but is not so strict with weight 500g (A5)  1 kg (A4) 3kg (A3) and 5 kg (A2)

They are cheaper but do not deliver satchels to all over Australia, so  Norther Territory  you miss out! And Fastway  do not deliver to PO Boxes or Australia Post Parcel lockers but Fastway  do have different parcel collect services, so where you are not home you can specify a Fastway parcel collect  location that is open for longer hours
